How to keep yourself motivated

Motivation

There is one thing that, for sure, has happened to all of us, and it is give up, quit, or just get bored of something or a routine. It is okay not to feel okay sometimes. I believe it is natural. So, when you feel like that like you don't want to continue just think about it, at least a little bit, and question if all the work you have done is worth dropping. Knowing your goals is key, knowing where you are and where you want to get to.

When one of those days comes and you feel overwhelmed, do what you think will release you from that situation. We can't avoid stress. However, as I wrote in my prior post, if we are able to control our thoughts we are able to control everything else. The more you practice your level of awareness, the more you will be able to tune in and make decisions that are more aligned with who you truly are and that are, therefore, better for you.

As a personal experience, when I feel oppress I choose to be alone. Sometimes I just don't want to hear people's advice. I just I want to listen to my inner me. Nobody knows more than me what I want. Listening to music and eat popcorn is my stress relief. In fact, I make my own popcorn I love them fresh, crispy, and warm, yeah, like that simple.

Even though I've never felt depressed or anxious, I've felt down before. I read "The Secret" and "The Four agreements," which helped me heal. The Secret is a book that talks about the law of attraction. The Four Agreements book talks about the ancients Toltecs, and teaches you how to liberate yourself from self-limiting beliefs that may cause suffering and limitations in personal life.

What do you do to stay motivated?

  1. Yes, reading is the great escape! And music, of course! It's nice to know that it's okay, and even perhaps healthy, to quit sometimes. There's too much emphasis in our society today never to quit. There's a certain pressure that comes with that. People would feel more secure about themselves if they knew they wouldn't be judged for having quit something.

  2. Listen to music or watching inspirational videos is my escape. I totally agree with you about quitting. The real problem is recognize when to do it in order to accept it and do it before it is too late. Sometimes life needs changes and it could seem bad but surely it will take you yo better results.

  3. The trick I use to reduce anxiety is to separate my worries into things I can control and things I can’t control. This allows me to focus only on taking actions where I have control and move on
