Wellbeing


Well-being is about establishing mental balance, a balance of thoughts, a positive state of affairs. 

I am 28 years old and since I was 23, I started to become more mindful of my body and of my mind. I started caring about what I put into my mouth because, basically, we are what we eat. And you might ask yourself what wellbeing has to do with mindfulness. Well bringing mindfulness to the table can have a significant influence on our wellbeing. 

Thanks to some influencers in social media I motivated myself to do some research about what wellbeing is, and, to put it simply, everything is about balance. If we control our minds we can control everything around us. 

In my personal experience, I do not eat 100% organic or homemade food but definitely, 80% of what I eat is real food, homemade and organic. It has not been easy for me because unfortunately there are many options out there, where basically buy food from any store or microwave food is way much cheaper than buying ingredients and prepare your own meal. Besides all that, I like to cook and I like to try new recipes. 

How many of you care about what you eat, and also, is cooking your thing?

  1. I like the idea of combining well-being and mindfulness. Yes, they certainly go hand in hand! Could you tell more, though, about what you mean by mindfulness. How can we "practice" mindfulness in our daily lives?

  2. I totally agree with you, we should be conscious about the food we ingest. I wish people were less tempted to eat/drink things that affect their health

  3. Very interesting! And totally agree. Actually I am trying to start on my detox process to get rid of all bad habits.
