What I do to connect to myself
What
I do to connect to myself and be more energetic
Nothing
makes you feel better than being in harmony with your body and mind. Health and wellbeing
are the only things we own. We are the owners of our acts and whatever we do can have on us good or bad consequences. Young People usually think that because they are young
they can eat and do anything without regret because they are young. They may also
say they will care about those things when they get old. However, it does not work like
that. The earlier you start to take care of your health and build good habits, the better you will feel when you get old. This way of living has helped me in a
good way.
Be
active, do what you like to do. Exercise in a way you considered right.
For instance, I do not like to go to the gym and spend 45 minutes lifting weights. To be active and exercise is, for me, to go for a run and do some exercise in
my place with zero equipment, bodyweight-only. Practicing Yoga is helping me a lot as well. I
usually like to practice it first thing time in the morning and on an empty
stomach.
Connect,
connect with your surroundings, with people, with your neighbors. We live
in a strange time. Technology now plays a more significant role in our lives, creating
electromagnetic pollution and affecting people’s mental health. People spend
a lot of time on phones now more than ever because of Covid-19 where we
are forced to practice social distancing even with our loved ones. Connect with yourself
as well. Take a good bath, light up some aromatic essentials, rub your body with essential
oils. Indulge yourself.
Give,
yes, give what you have. Nothing makes you feel gladder that giving something to someone.
Remember, whenever you give, you will get back.
Be
grateful and take notice of what you have. There is no doubt that we live in a
world where time flies. We live accelerated lives, but remember to be thankful for
what you have today, for your health.
Keep
learning, for knowledge is infinite. All the time something new comes out. Read,
search, and keep your mind occupied.
Sleep,
yes!!! For me to be energetic and in a good mood, I need at least 8 hours of sleep.
Give your body a rest. Make your own schedule for sleeping and your body will
remember it.
Share
with me what you do to reach your wellbeing.

Nice! When you talk about being grateful for what you have, you sound a bit like an Epicurean (I mean that as a compliment!). There's the idea that we don't need riches and fame to be happy. A soft patch of grass or a rock overlook will do just fine!
ResponderEliminarYou appear to be meditating in the photo. Am I right? You could write more about how immersion in nature such as what the Japanese call "forest-bathing" should be an essential component in mindfulness and well-being.
ResponderEliminarI feel like if I do everything you mention, I will live as much as Noah. It’s like a mental prescription. Muy bien!
ResponderEliminarInteresting!! Believe it or not, I used to practice yoga too. I really need to go back to my good habits.
ResponderEliminarI love "give" and "be grateful" parts! I feel it. Amazing post!
